Michelle Williams sadly denies any rumors of Destiny’s Child getting back together at the Super Bowl this year. Yes, the trio will be coming out with a new album this year, but the rumor of a reunion of the girls anytime soon is false, according to Williams.
“I’m going to be in the musical Fela!, I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it’s not true,” Michelle told WRUG Media in a recent interview.
According to the show’s website, there are two performances of Fela! at Sidney Harman Hall on Super Bowl Sunday, thus it’s doubtful she will be attending the Super Bowl.
Destiny’s Child – Love Songs, a greatest hits compilation of the group’s most romantic recordings, was released today and features the group’s new song, “Nuclear,” their first in eight years.
As for now their is no “official” date on when the Destiny’s Child will reunite on stage, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the group made an appearance during the Halftime Show anyways. There is so just too much potential exposure for them to pass up.
