On Friday, a new track titled “Slave 2 the Rhythm” featuring Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber surfaced online. However, the duet has now suddenly disappeared.
Jackson reportedly recorded the song alone before his death back in 2009 before it was quietly leaked in 2010. The new re-worked version of the song, which includes vocals by Bieber, has already been played on the radio station Capital FM in the U.K.
Before the song leaked on Friday, Bieber posted some Michael Jackson-themed tweets, saying “Excited for what is to come. MJ set the bar. Not only for music but for being an entertainer and how u treat the fans. Wish he was here…” and “MJ. The greatest of all time. #fact.”
Over the weekend, the track was removed from YouTube and Soundcloud. The video on YouTube now states that the “video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by SME.”
There is no word on when the song will be released, if ever. Luckily, we’ve found a version of the song online that hasn’t been pulled yet.
