Meat Loaf’s next album Braver Than We Are will be released September 16, his record label revealed Wednesday.
It’s been five years since the release of his last album Hell in a Handbasket. Braver Than We Are marks Meat Loaf’s thirteenth studio album, and he is teaming up with longtime collaborator Jim Steinman, who wrote every track of the album. Steinman previously collaborated with Meat Loaf on his multi-platinum selling albums Bat Out of Hell and Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell.
The first single from the album is titled “Going All the Way” and features the voices of Ellen Foley and Karla DeVito. Foley and DeVito have worked with Meat Loaf before, lending their vocals to his hit song “Paradise by the Dashboard Light.”
