Trailing the release of the new M.I.A. track “Come Walk With Me,” comes the accompanying lyric video. It’s certainly not your typical lyric video – the clip extends far beyond the traditional words dancing on, off and across the screen.
This new breed of lyric visual features computer-animated Hindu gods, animals, and worshipers performing highly surprising acts. Seriously. Things get real grimy around the 2:45 mark, when an animated lion-headed god tears into a man’s insides. Crazy, right? Moments later another smashes a mortal into the ground with its massive foot.
The new video is loaded with freaky, yet attention grasping, animations that make you eager to know if the forthcoming M.I.A. album will be half as bizarre as the “Come Walk With Me” clip.

M.I.A.’s long-awaited fourth studio album Matangi is due out November 5th .
The project was produced entirely by M.I.A., Surkin, Switch and Danja. The album will include M.I.A.’s latest track “Come Walk With Me,” as well as previously released singles “Bad Girls” and “Bring The Noize,” and “Only 1 U.”
