Lorde caused Vevo to crash Tuesday night (Dec. 3) when she unleashed the video for “Team,” the latest single from the teenage singer’s debut album, Pure Heroine.
The 17-year-old pop sensation unveiled her new music video and immediately sent fans storming to the video website to watch the clip, causing a traffic-surge. After hearing about the issues with Vevo, Lorde wrote to her fans: “Omg you crashed vevo! I think you’re all overloading the video. Let it breathe!”
Lorde’s debut album Pure Heroine hit stores Sept. 27, and features the new single “Team,” as well as super-hit single “Royals” and other offerings from the New Zealand native such as “Tennis Court,” “Ribs,” and “White Teeth Teens.”
