LL Cool J, a two-time Grammy winner, was announced on Wednesday to be the host of the 54th Grammy Awards on February 12th.  The NCIS: Los Angeles star will be the first person to host the award’s show since Queen Latifah took the podium in 2005.

“I’m thrilled to be part of Music’s Biggest Night,” said Cool J in a statement to People Magazine. “I will always have fond memories of my first Grammy Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true.”

The 54th Grammy Awards will be aired on CBS at 7 pm on February 12th.  Other guest performers include Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift.
