Lion King vs. Aladdin: The Epic Broadway Airport Sing-Off

During a six-hour flight delay at LaGuardia Airport, casts of Broadway’s Lion King and Aladdin were among the stranded travelers. To pass the time, they decided to have a bit of fun and engaged in a sing-off, which included performances from both shows, featuring songs such as “Circle of Life” and “Arabian Nights.”

James Iglehart, who won a Tony Award in 2014 for his role as the Genie in Aladdin, also does a freestyle rap. Check out the video below:

This wasn’t the first time The Lion King cast has put on an impromptu performance in public. Last year, the cast did a surprise performance of “Circle of Life” on the subway as well as on a flight to Australia.
