After being sentenced to eight-years in prison on drug charges, rapper Lil’ Boosie has been released from the Louisiana State Penitentiary system.

Lil’ Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, arrived at Angola penitentiary in 2009 after pleading guilty to his third offense of marijuana possession.
