The New York Post is under fire for running an article that claims former Oasis frontman, Liam Gallagher, is being sued millions for fathering a ‘love child’ with an unidentified woman. Gallagher is suing the N.Y. Post for the allegations and immediately taking legal action against the New York paper for the ‘secret love child’ article that ran on Wednesday.
The New York Post reported that Gallagher is being sued in Manhattan Family Court for a reported $3 million by a woman who claims to have given birth to Liam’s ‘love child’ about a year ago. The article mentioned that the woman “specializes in interviewing celebrities” and alleges that she “had an affair with the rocker”.
The N.Y. Post was not the only paper to report on Gallagher’s alleged secret love child. The New York Daily News ran an exclusive story on Wednesday about Gallagher’s ‘ love child’ lawsuit. UK tabloid, The Sun, ran an article on Sunday about a British rocker facing a paternity lawsuit in the U.S., but the U.K tabloid never mentioned Gallagher’s name in the story.
Gallagher is already a father to three children, one with his wife, Canadian singer and actress Nicole Appleton, and two from previous marriages. Gallagher has been married to Nicole since February 2008.
