This week has been jam-packed with reveals regarding Lana Del Rey’s highly-anticipated sophomore album Ultraviolence. The follow-up to 2012’s Born to Die, which is scheduled to hit stores worldwide on July 16 via Interscope, has been buzzing loud, most recently due to the promo video surfacing on Tuesday, May 27. Now, a new song preview is here to hike up even more excitement for the album.
Following singles “West Coast” and “Shades Of Cool,” the 27-year-old singer has unleashed another track from the forthcoming record titled “Brooklyn Baby.” The song, which offers a dreary and completely washed-out vibe – the typical Del Rey sound, comes in the form of a 36-second preview. Listen to the song teaser below:
Also, check out the short trailer for the upcoming Ultraviolence. The 16-second promo clip is grainy black and white styled, featuring scenes of Del Rey looking moody, interlaced with speedy cut away shots of ocean waves breaking on the shore, bottles of champagne getting popped and tons of cigarette smoke.
