Lady Gaga has officially announced that she will be performing at 87th Academy Awards.
The six-time Grammy winner announced today that she will perform live at the 87th Oscars on Sunday, February 22nd. Gaga tweeted the announcement to fans and also re-tweeted a photo she took with Oscar producers saying:
“#Oscar rehearsal Santa Monica w @ladygaga @craigzadan @neilmeron @stephenoremus (our music director) yesterday!”
Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have not revealed if Gaga will perform her Grammy-winning song “Cheek to Cheek” with Tony Bennett, but producers have said her performance will be “a special tribute.” Other announced Oscar performers include Rita Ora, Jennifer Hudson and Anna Kendrick.
Neil Patrick Harris will host The 87th Oscars live on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre® on ABC.
