Lady GaGa Teases Possible First Single For ARTPOP

Earlier this month, pop superstar Lady GaGa painted grins on the faces of Little Monsters all over the globe when she dropped a massive bomb announcing the release of her new album ARTPOP.  The “Poker Face” singer also unveiled the album’s first artwork, which features Mother Monster sporting a white paintball mask and a tattoo of the album’s title alone – nothing else (seen above).

GaGa’s make-up artist, Tara Savelo, recently amped up the ARTPOP buzz , teasing the title of the album’s first single as “Applause” by posting the picture below on Gaga’s popular social networking site, LittleMonsters.

Though the official title for the album’s first single remains unconfirmed, the photo’s caption “26 days” seems to hint at the August 19th date Gaga promised for the new single.

ARTPOP  is slated for release on November 11th.  The album will be available for pre-order along with its accompanying app on September 1st.

Gaga talked about the upcoming release of the app saying, “[It’s] a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology with a new interactive worldwide community – ‘the auras.’ Altering the human experience with social media, we bring ARTculture into POP in a reverse Warholian expedition.”
