Lady Gaga has debuted an extra-terrestrial love ballad called “Venus,” off of her highly anticipated studio album ARTPOP.
The new single was released on the web over the weekend and already has over a million views on Vevo. The nearly four minute song has nothing in relation to Shocking Blue’s 1969 hit “Venus” or Bananarama’s 1986 remake of the song. The artwork for her new single shows a futuristic supernova photo of Gaga which has her face covered in metallic paint with a large scorpion on her nose.
Gaga confirmed earlier this month that “Venus” was going to be the only single released from her album ARTPOP ,due out November 11th, but earlier last week Gaga also released the track “Do What U Want,” a collaboration with R&B singer R Kelly.
