Lady Gaga Attempts to Stop Details of Lawsuit From Being Made Public

Lady Gaga is attempting to stop personal details of a lawsuit between her former collaborator and an ex-boyfriend from being made public.

Gaga reportedly filed a document earlier this week asking that certain information within the case be sealed by the court. The singer has described the details within the lawsuit are “sensitive, private and personal” and stated that the personal details would “inflict significant personal and professional harm” upon her if the information was to be made public.

The 27-year-old singer’s former collaborator, Wendy Starland, began legal proceedings against producer and Gaga’s ex-boyfriend, Rob Fusari, back in 2010 claiming that she was owed money for her part in discovering Gaga.  Starland claims she met Gaga when the singer was still using her real name, Stefani Germanotta.

Gaga and her ex-boyfriend, Rob Fusari, have signed a non-disparagement agreement, stating that the details of the lawsuit remain private.
