Pop singer Ke$ha has checked herself in to a Chicago-area rehab center to seek treatment for an eating disorder.
According to media reports, the singer checked herself in at the Timberline Knolls facility on Friday January 3. This is the same facility that Demi Lovato checked into back in 2010 for an eating disorder and other issues.
Ke$ha released a statement saying, “I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I’ve found it hard to practice. I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder … to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am.”
This announcement comes two days after the singer released her self-directed video for her song “Dirty Love.”
