Katy Perry decided to announce her upcoming fourth album in an unconventional way. She used a gold semi-truck with her name, the title of her new album, and it’s release date printed on the side of it to drive around the streets of downtown Los Angeles on Monday to announce the details of her new album Prism.
Her tweet implies that the semi-truck will be traveling through other cities as well.
Prism will be the pop star’s first release in three years. Her last album, Teenage Dream, was released in the summer of 2010 and produced five #1 singles. She is the only female artist in history to have five #1 singles from one album.
