Rapper and new father Kanye West is interested in purchasing Graceland, the former home of Elvis Presley, for reality star girlfriend Kim Kardashian and daughter North West.
It is reported that the American landmark will cost West around $85 million, a purchase he feels confident he will be able to complete. West believes that by purchasing and restoring the iconic landmark it will help cement his place in show business history.
“It would be really cool if he, Kim and baby Nori lived there, at least some of the time,” a source close to Kanye has announced.
Graceland is currently an American national landmark that is owned by Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. While the tourist attraction brings in around 500,000 visitors a year. The building is due to go on the market, but only if it stays open to the public as a place for Elvis fans to visit and pay their respects.
