Justin Timberlake has performed outstandingly this year, releasing two extremely successful blockbuster albums. The first part of the 32-year-old singer’s The 20/20 Experience made its debut back in late March, marking the year’s best opening week when it sold 968,000 copies. This week, the second part of The 20/20 Experience trailed in, but failed to out-shine its predecessor, selling only 350,000 copies in its first week.
Still, Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2 sits gloriously atop the U.S. album chart, marking the singer’s second No. 1 album of 2013. With the first 20/20 release – which has sold 2.3 million so far – leaping 26 slots to No. 11 on the current chart, Timberlake currently has two releases in this week’s top 12. Even more impressive, the singer is the only act this year to move more than 300,000 units of any album in multiple weeks.
The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2 is available for download on iTunes now.
