Jennifer Lopez is gearing up for her biggest tour ever with more than 60 dates planned on four continents later this year. A source tells Celebuzz the tour will begin in June in South America, followed by legs in Asia, Europe and North America.
There are at least 60 concerts confirmed and more could be added. A press conference to confirm the tour is expected next week. The insider said, “J. Lo and her team have blocked out more than a month of their schedules, beginning May 4, to start intense rehearsals, each day at a sound stage in the Los Angeles area.”
The source added Lopez’s boyfriend, dancer Casper Smart, will choreograph the stage show. “This will be a huge tour, complete with a lavish set, full band and team of dancers.”
This will be J. Lo’s first-ever world tour. In 2007, she and then-husband Marc Anthony toured together but never left the U.S. The tour ended when Lopez became pregnant after six weeks on the road.
Lopez is currently working around her schedule as a judge on “American Idol.” She released the single “Dance Again” featuring Pitbull last week.
