Is Timbaland Producing A Michael Jackson Project?

A video teaser released by Revolt TV shows a short interview with music producer Timberland dropping clues about a collaboration with the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

The forty-second clip was released on YouTube over the weekend, but was later taken down before returning as third-party posts.  The video shows music producer Timbaland dropping hints and glimpses of images featuring Michael Jackson.  Timbaland describes his new project to be as “two kings working together” and that its going to be “Big.”  He is very mysterious during the interview and doesn’t exactly say that he is working with Michael, but there are various clips of Michael Jackson throughout the video that hint on it.

With details still reaming unclear, Timbaland does say that his first single will be called “Chicago,” and that the producer was keen to “set it up right.”  His next project will be a blend of his music and Jackson’s vocals.  Timbaland is famously known for producing hits for Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Robin Thicke, Nelly Furtardo and even the late Aaliyah, in which he strongly disagrees with new artist trying to collaborate with her music.

“People always say, ‘I’m going to do a song with Aaliyah.’ It will never work,” Timbaland said. “Chris Brown got a record, it won’t work. Drake can go do a record with Aaliyah, it ain’t gonna work. ’Cause Aaliyah music only work with its soulmate, which is me,” he was quoted as saying.

As for his Michael Jackson project, it was apparently initiated by Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid, but nothing official has been set in stone.
