Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea’s single “Pretty Girls” did not become a summer smash despite the song being a collaboration between two very popular artists. Azalea took to Twitter to explain her thoughts on why it flopped during a Q&A.
@rhuancesarr its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured…

She added:
@rhuancesarr i would have enjoyed performing it alot, i think it got off to a powerful start. but you need content to compete in 2015.

After many felt Azalea was blaming Spears for the song’s failure to top the charts, Azalea further commented on the song:
@ThePopZone my comment is factual, it applies to any song. I dont have to suck the womans asshole 24/7 to be her friend, do i? bye girls.

She also stated she was not dissing Spears:
@itsGsusBitch im not attacking anyone. all i said was: i wish we had promoted more but thats out of my control. shes a good friend.
