Nicki Minaj and Scotty McCreery are performing this week on American Idol!
The Queen of Hip Hop will take the stage to perform her latest Billboard top 10 hit “Starships.” Just last week Minaj dropped two new singles: “Right By My Side” featuring Chris Brown and “Beez In The Trap” featuring rapper 2 Chainz. Nicki’s much anticipated sophomore effort “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” hits stores on April 3.
The winner of “Idol” season 10, Scotty McCreery, will be stopping by to perform “Water Tower Town,” a track from his 2011 debut album, Clear as Day. According to Aceshowbiz Kelly Clarkson will be taping performance for a later airing.

In other American Idol news, the top 5 contestants will take their talents to Disney World.
It’s all part of a deal between Disney and “Idol” to promote the theme park’s new American Idol Experience. Each contestant will head down to the park to spend a day taping their part for the attraction. In exchange, the contestants will earn an impressive $50,000.
As for the winner, the contract specifies a taped spot, a commercial, and an in-person appearance at Disney World. Said winner will also earn a $200,000 payday.
