Former Wham! front man George Michael remains hospitalized after suffering head trauma in a car accident last Thursday. The British singer was a passenger in a single vehicle wreck when he fell out of the vehicle and onto the M1 Motorway in London. He was the only person injured in the accident.
While Michael was fully conscious at the scene and only suffered a couple of bumps and bruises to the head, he was airlifted to a local trauma center located in London where he continues to be under observation. During an interview a spokeswoman for Michael stated, “He is doing better. He is making good progress and is looking forward to getting out.”
This is not the first time the British pop star has been hospitalized. Back in 2011 Michael was in intensive care for a month after suffering “major anxiety” brought on by a severe battle with pneumonia, resulting in the singer’s Australian tour to be cancelled.
