Frank Ocean Hints at Album Release Date

Singer Frank Ocean may finally be releasing his sophomore album this year!

On Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry website, a new post was added Saturday showing an image of a library due date card with multiple dates stamped on it. The majority of the dates have passed, but two future dates are listed. One shows July 2016 with the exact date smudged out, and the other is November 13, 2016, causing many to speculate that his new album will be released this month or on November 13. Some fans believe the album will be released this month, and a magazine to follow the album will be released in November.

It has been four years since the 28-year-old singer released his last album Channel Orange. The critically acclaimed record contained the hit single “Thinkin Bout You.”

Last year, the Grammy Award-winning artist had announced his second album would be released in July 2015, but that never happened. Now it appears that he will finally be releasing new music this year.
