Foster The People Stream New Album ‘Supermodel’
Foster the People is letting fans hear their sophomore album “Supermodel” ahead of its release by streaming it online. The highly anticipated album trails three years behind the Los Angeles band’s debut “Torches,” which was released in 2011, and features the familiar tracks “Best Friend,” “Pseudologia Fantastica,” and “Coming of Age,” which stands as the album’s lead single.
According to the voice of the indie pop group, frontman Mark Foster, “Supermodel” is an exploration of the “ugly side of capitalism.” Foster describes the album as “a time capsule of thoughts and ideas and the things I was struggling with at the time…I look back at some songs now and think, ‘Wow, I was really angry when I wrote that!’”
After two years of recording with producer Paul Epworth (Paul McCartney, Adele, U2), Foster The People’s second LP ‘Supermodel’ will be available for purchase this upcoming Tuesday, March 18th. Fans can march over to iTunes Radio First Play and enjoy the full album for free by clicking here.
