Grammy Award-nominated and multi-platinum selling recording artist Fall Out Boy and rock band O.A.R are set to perform at NHL’s 2015 All-Star Game.
Held in Columbus, Ohio, the first intermission will feature Fall Out Boy, followed by a performance from O.A.R. during the second intermission. In addition, the band Locksley will perform their hit single “The Whip” during the pregame festivities. The song is performed after every Columbus Blue Jackets goal, during the NHL All-Star player introductions.
From the League’s press release, “Twelve local boys and girls, between the ages of eight and 13 years old, will take part in the player introductions as part of McDonald’s ‘In the Lineup’ program.”
The Columbus Blue Jackets and city of Columbus will host the 2015 NHL All-Star festivities, marking a first for the city and Club. Fans can watch the game live on Sunday, January 25th at 5/4c on NBCSN.
Fall Out Boy is set to go on tour this summer with rapper Wiz Khalifa on June 10th. The Boys of Zummer Tour will start in Camden, New Jersey and continue for the next three months, concluding in Los Angeles on August 10th.
