In late August, we were teased with the first single off Eminem’s much anticipated forthcoming album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2. “Berzerk”was the first offering from the rapper’s upcoming eighth studio album, followed by “Survival,” the album’s second single. Now Shady has dished out another taste of what expect on The MMLP 2.
Following the premiere of his “Survival” video, Eminem revealed the third track from MMLP 2, titled “Rap God.” The track appears to be a quick jab at the two rappers who have glorified themselves as rappers with obnoxious album titles. There’s no need to name the pair, everyone knows who the two emcees are. Listen to “Rap God” below.
The MMLP sequel is Eminem’s first release since 2010’s Recovery, which featured hit songs “Not Afraid” and “Love the Way You Lie”. The Marshall Mathers LP‘ will be released Nov. 5 and features appearances from artists like Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Skylar Grey and Nate Ruess. Check out album line-up and cover art below.
