Drake just dropped a brand-new track called “0 to 100/The Catch Up” in the middle of Hot 97 Summer Jam, one of hip-hop’s biggest nights of the year, and it’s a must listen. While the mysterious release is a huge deal simply because it’s stamped with Drake’s killer rhymes and what sound like James Blake vocals, the song also comes paired with a big announcement. The recently-released track hints at a new Drake record.
In the song, at around 3:55-ish, the Canadian emcee raps “Listen up boy you’re better off eavesdroppin’/ We already got spring 2015 poppin’/ PND droppin’, OB droppin’, Majid Jordan droppin’, not to mention me droppin’,” suggesting a followup to Nothing Was the Same, which was released late last year, could be on the way.
Listen to “0 to 100/The Catch Up,” which was produced Boi-1da, Noah “40″ Shebib and Nineteen85, below.
