We Came As Romans is a metalcore outfit from Troy, Michigan who launched their music career back in 2005. The band brought melodic metalcore to the masses with highly appraised projects Demonstrations (2008), Dreams (2008), To Plant a Seed (2009), and Understanding What We’ve Grown to Be (2011).
The band is not a Warped Tour rookie. We Came As Romans performed the tour a couple of years ago – and based on their placement on main stage this time around – have returned in a big way. Expect loads of metalcore goodness from the guys, including a performance of the band’s newest single “Hope.” The band orecently released their new album Tracing Back Roots on July 23 on Equal Vision Records.
We Came As Romans is comprised of Kyle Pavone (vocals), David Stephens (guitar/vocals), Joshua Moore (lead guitar), Brian “Lou” Cotton (rhythm guitar), Eric Choi (drums) and Andy Glass (bass).
