The longest running tour in the United State, the Vans Warped Tour, is making its way to Houston on Sunday, August 4th. To prepare rockers for the occasion, BackstageOL.com is kicking off the official Countdown to Warped Tour.
Each day until the show, we will feature an artist or band that Houstonians are itching to see live at Reliant Park this upcoming weekend. Pull your Houston horns out of your pockets and throw them up high, the Countdown to Warped Tour starts today.
Issues
Fans owe Woe, Is Me alumnus Tyler Carter, Michael Bohn, and Cory and Ben Ferris for the creation of metalcore outfit, Issues. The band started making tunes in 2012 and a few months later signed to Rise Records imprint Velocity. Their first EP, Black Diamonds, arrived at the rear end of 2012 (Nov. 13) receiving mixed reviews. The band is currently planning the release of their second EP – an acoustic EP entitled Diamond Dreams.
On July 4th, 2013, Issues released the official music video for their newest single “Hooligans”. The video currently has a whopping 794,779 views on YouTube. That’s impressive for a band with only a year until their belt.
Issues will enter the studio after Vans Warped Tour 2013 to record their debut full-length album.
