The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will return for two weekends in 2013. After successfully debuting the six-day model, next year’s festival will feature the same lineup for both weekends.
The festival’s official website announced that next year’s event will run from April 12-14 and April 19-21. Advance tickets go on sale this Thursday at 10:00 pm PDT, while general passes will be released early in 2013.
“We had too many people who wanted to go,” Coachella founder and producer Paul Tollett, told Billboard “We feel that in 2012 there will be even more that want to go, so we’re trying to create more room for them. The options would be to sell more tickets on one weekend or have two weekends, and the latter is the option we went with.”
