Chris Brown’s Probation Revoked, Faces Up to 4 Years in Prison

On Monday a Los Angeles judge decided to revoke Chris Brown’s probation after reviewing the details of Brown’s alleged hit-and-run case.

A depressed Breezy entered Superior Court Judge James Brandlin courtroom with several members of his family on Monday. The singer sat at his counselor’s table with his head down and arms across his chest while his lawyer convened with the prosecutor and Judge Bradlin in the judge’s chambers. When the group emerged, Superior Court Judge James Brandlin announced, “In this matter, probation is revoked.”

Deputy District Attorney Mary Murray did not request that Brown be jailed and the judge allowed Breezy to remain a free man for the time being.

Brown could face up to four years in prison if the court determines that Brown violated his probation. His next hearing is set for August 16th.
