Chris Brown and Frank Ocean got into a heated fight outside the Westlake recording studio in Los Angeles last night. The cause of the brawl: a disagreement over a parking space.
TMZ spoke to Chris Brown’s people after the brawl and they claimed Frank Ocean started the fight:
As Chris went to leave [the studio], Frank Ocean and his crew blocked Chris from leaving. The sources say Frank said, ‘This is my studio, this is my parking spot.’ We’re told Chris went to shake Frank’s hand … and that’s when one of Frank’s people attacked Chris … one of Chris’ friends jumped in front and hit Frank’s friend … Frank then came at Chris … Chris pushed him away and they started brawling.
Frank Ocean took to Twitter to give his side of the fight:
@frank_ocean: got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest was there.
Everest is Ocean’s Bernese mountain dog. The “No Church in the Wild” singer claims he was injured in the altercation as well.
@frank_ocean: cut my finger now I can’t play w two hands at the grammys.
Ocean is nominated for six Grammy Awards including Best New Artist, Album of the Year and Record of the Year while Chris Brown has only one nomination.
Police arrived on the scene at Westlake recording studio but not before Chris Brown could speed away. Frank Ocean is currently being referred to as “the victim” in the altercation due to reports Brown punched him in the face before leaving the scene.
Neither party plans to press charges.
