Cher Announces First Tour Since 2005

Cher announced today that she’ll be hitting the road next Spring for her “Dressed to Kill” tour. The 67-year-old singer will travel to 49 cities across North America for her first tour in eight years. Her last tour, “The Never Can Say Goodbye Tour,” ended in 2005 after performing 325 dates in 20 countries over three years.

“The road is horrible, but the concerts are great,” Cher commented this morning. “I understand why guys in bands tear up hotel rooms and throw TVs out the windows, because it’s a very lonely place. The only time you have fun is at the concerts.”

If you are an American Express cardholder you are in luck! Pre-sale tickets for you will run Monday, Sept. 30, through Thursday Oct. 3. Information for when the general public can purchase tickets will be announced at www.cher.com.
