Carrie Underwood has released the music video for “Two Black Cadillacs”, the third single off her hit album Blown Away.
In the video Carrie portrays a dark, yet powerful ex who’s seeking vengeance from her former lover that ran away with his mistress. “Two Black Cadillacs” is loosely based on Stephen King’s novel Christine.
Although Carrie received some bitter reactions from her fans, she remained positive by Tweeting, “Thank you all so much for the love you’ve been giving me for the “Two Black Cadillacs” video! You guys are awesome!”
Being a former American Idol contestant herself, Carrie showed support for Idol contestant Ashley Smith who sang her song “Cowboy Casanova” last night.
“The girl singing ‘Cowboy Casanova’ was awesome! She was such a nice surprise!” Carrie congratulated on Twitter.
