Britney Spears Documentary “I Am Britney Jean” to Air on E!

E! has announced that they will be airing a 90-minute television documentary on the “behind-the-scenes” life of Britney Spears, titled I Am Britney Jean. The special will air on Sunday, December 22 at 7pm CST.

The television special will show Britney preparing for her two-year residency in Las Vegas.  According to E!,  the show will give “an intimate look at one of the most overexposed yet under-revealed stars of today as she faces one of her biggest challenges ever while finishing her album, shooting videos, doing press — and being a mom.”

The documentary begins as the pop star finishes writing and recording her latest album, Britney Jean. E! claims it’s one of Britney’s “most candid and revealing interviews ever.”

Spears is having an eventful December this year. Her eighth studio album, Britney Jean, will be released on December 3, and she will begin her two-year residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.  Her show “Britney: Piece of Me” begins on December 27.

Her upcoming album, Britney Jean, includes tracks with her younger sister Jamie Lynn, T.I. and will.i.am. Last month, she released the music video for her latest single, “Work Bitch.”
