Britney Spears Announces Release Date for New Album

Britney is Back

The Princess of Pop is back!

Britney Spears announced on social media that her ninth studio album, Glory, will be released on August 26 via Apple Music.

Fans who pre-order the new album will also get her new single “Private Show”, which is also the name of the new perfume she is set to release.  The album will feature Spears’ current single “Make Me” featuring G-Eazy.

This will be Britney’s first album since 2013’s Britney Jean, which featured her hit “Work B-“. She is currently in Las Vegas doing a run of shows in The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Her residency in Las Vegas has boosted her popularity which has led her to work with artists such as Miley Cyrus, Iggy Azalea, and G-Eazy.

Britney dubs her new album Glory, “beginning of a new era”. We can’t wait to see if this is true!

Born and raised in Houston, TX, I've grown to love everything entertainment. I graduated from the University of Houston - Downtown in 2013 and from there I pushed into the Entertainment world. I started off as an intern in promoting films, then moved into radio (KRBE) and sports (Houston Rockets) before becoming a part of The Crew at BackstageOL! I'm humbled to be a part of this awesome site and I'm looking forward to giving y'all quality reads (Y'all is a word, promise!). You can find me on Instagram and Twitter @marckatos_24. I also love my comic books and my pancakes, but overall I love movies and television shows. Here's a list of my top 5 favorite Movies and TV Shows: Favorite Movies: 1. Pans Labyrinth 2. Lord of the Rings Trilogy ("It still only counts as one!") 3. Shaun of the Dead 4. My Neighbor Totoro 5. Guardians of the Galaxy Favorite TV Shows: 1. Game of Thrones 2. The Flash 3. Community 4.
