The Backstreet Boys will soon be releasing a documentary called Backstreet Boys: Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of, and Billboard has a preview clip of the film.
In the sneak peek, band member Brian Littrell discusses how the band had no control in the early stages of the band’s career. “The record executives picked the singles; there was no decision making.”
“When we were kids it was different: we were told what to do, told what to say,” he continues. “And now it’s like, you know what? I do have a voice. I want to think for myself. I want to make music for me. I want to make music for our fans, I want to make everybody happy.”
The documentary will show the recording process for their latest LP In a World Like This, as well as their life on the road.
The film will hit theaters and be available On Demand on January 30.
