It’s only a matter of days until Arcade Fire lands its second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. The Canadian band’s fourth studio album, Reflektor,was released Tuesday (Oct. 29), and the new record is expected to sell around 135,000 copies during its first week of sales.
The Montreal-based group’s first top-charting album was 2010’s The Suburbs, which arrived at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 156,000 copies in its first week of sales. The Suburbs earned the indie rock band a Grammy Award for “Album of the Year” in 2010.
The new Billboard 200 chart will be revealed on Wednesday (Nov. 6). Let’s see if Arcade Fire’s new album meets our expectations!
