On Sunday, a 25th anniversary screening of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast took place at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City. Many of the film’s stars made an appearance, including Paige O’Hara (voice of Belle), Robby Benson (voice of the Beast), Richard White (voice of Gaston), and Angela Lansbury (voice of Mrs. Potts).
Lansbury, 90, even performed the film’s most iconic number, “Beauty and the Beast,” which won an Academy Award for best original song in 1992. She was joined by the film’s composer, Alan Menken, at the piano, and she even ended the song with one of Mrs. Potts’ quotes, saying, “Run along and get in the cupboard, Chip. Time you was in bed.”

Menken, who has written songs for many Disney movies, also performed numbers from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and Hercules.
The 25th anniversary edition of Beauty and the Beast hits DVD and Blu-Ray on Tuesday. A live-action version of the film starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens is scheduled to arrive in theaters in March 2017.
