The 2016 American Music Awards, hosted by Jay Pharoah and Gigi Hadid, aired Sunday night and was jam-packed with performances, which included Bruno Mars kicking off the night with “24K Magic,” Lady Gaga singing her latest single “Million Reasons,” and Maroon 5 and Kendrick Lamar closing the show with “Don’t Wanna Know.”
Drake, Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande were the big winners of the night. Grande took home Artist of the Year, the night’s top prize. Bieber took home four awards. Drake, who had the most nominations in AMAs history with thirteen, won three solo awards.
