Earlier this year, Adele teased her third studio album with a tweet captioned “Bye by 25… See you again later in the year.” The tweet implied that a follow-up to Adele’s first two albums 19 and 21 would be released soon, but there was no official announcement of the upcoming release.

Adele is working with Ryan Tedder on her third effort, who also helped out on the hit “Rumour Has It” from Adele’s last album, 21.
“We’ve collected a number of songs. I don’t know which ones will make the album. I think only she knows that,” said Tedder about the new Adele album. “I know that some of them are great, and I’ll try to come in and bring the best that I can, because an artist as good as she is deserves the absolute best. I try to do what I do with anyone else, but with Adele the stakes happen to be a little bit higher.”
