Clear the calendar for June 19th and 20th! The Live Music Day Festival and O Music Awards are coming up and MTV has quite a surprise in store for any passionate music lover.

At OMusicAwards.com on June 19th at 6pm CST, the Live Music Day Festival will be streamed live for all the world to see for a whole 24 hours. Over 50 bands of all different musical styles will be performing on stage. MTV is event a “celebration of the Web and how it makes it possible for anyone, anywhere to take in live music right from the comfort of their own abode.” Can anyone say free concert?

MTV has recently released a partial list of the bands performing at Live Music Day including Atlas Genius, Kate Nash, and even Hanson (see extensive list below). In addition, five finalists of the Make a Band Famous contest will have a chance to perform at the 24-hour event.  Bands competing include: Chill Moody, Darling Parade, The So So Glos, Striking Matches, and Syd Arthur.

Now here’s where things get put into the audience’s hands. Out of these five, the band with the highest audience vote at the end of the show will get a life changing experience. They will have the opportunity to play at the Video Music Awards and will be added as MTV’s Artist To Watch. Make sure you go vote for your favorite!
