UPDATE (1015PM)- Album of the Year- “Babel” Mumford & Sons….good choice.

UPDATE (1011PM)- Frank Ocean doing “Forrest Gump”…I fell back asleep.

UPDATE (1010PM) – I like Juanes…but this Elton performance looks like something that should have been on a Family Guy episode.

UPDATE (935pm)- Hunter Hayes performs.  Tosses to Carrie Underwood….Carrie kills it.

UPDATE (926PM) – I think I heard a “naughty” word on the air.

UPDATE (918 PM) – Lumineers performance. I always think of dental work when I say their name…they are about to tour. We announced the Houston date earlier.

UPDATE (905PM)- Bob Marley tribute …Bruno Mars sings- his song. I didn’t realize Marley did this originally.

UPDATE- (9PM) – SOMEONE IS GONNA WIN RODEO HOUSTON TICKETS THIS HOUR!!!!!!!! 

UPDATE (857PM)– Best Country Album – Zac Brown Band “Uncaged”

UPDATE (853PM)- Kelly Clarkson pays tribute to Patti Page & Carole King. Huh? #Filler

UPDATE (850PM) – Black Keys performance in a New Orleans style….good stuff here. They are darn good. They are still the  worst band I’ve ever interviewed. But they rock.

UPDATE (840pm) – Best Rap Collaboration award goes to “No Church In The Wild” Jay Z/Kanye/The Dream/Frank Ocean

UPDATE (835PM)- Rihanna performs. I really like her.

UPDATE (828PM)– Best Pop Vocal Album…Kelly Clarkson “Stronger”…Pink should have won.

UPDATE (822PM) – Alicia Keys & Maroon 5 performances… this one reminded me I still need to watch last week’s GLEE episode.

UPDATE (819PM)–  Rock Performance- Black Keys “Lonely Boy”….thank goodness Jethro Tull wasn’t nominated…

UPDATE (812) Best Urban Contemporary Album- Frank Ocean “Channel Orange”. he beats Chris Brown (again)…lol

UPDATE (806PM) Justin Timberlake is BACK!  Jay Z  joins him….he performs new tune “Little Pusher Love Girl”.(after Suit & Tie).the new album is gonna be great. Glad he is back.

UPDATE (803PM)- Beyonce & Ellen intro Justin Timberlake.

UPDATE (8PM)- Since we are in commercial break…I should tell you the Rodeo Houston tickets will be given away in the 9pm hour…are you ready to win?

UPDATE (753PM) – Mumford & Sons performance (intro’d by Johnny Depp)….nothing flashy here…they are showing us why they are true musicians.  Should have pulled Khalifa/Miguel and given Mumford one more song.

UPDATE (750PM)- Song of the Year award…winner- “We Are Young” Fun….they should have performed that one earlier…

UPDATE- (739PM)- Yet another performance…Wiz Khalifa & Miguel….I once saw him perform at the launching of a cell phone carrier’s party (Miguel) …zzzzzzz…they then awarded Best Country performance (huh?) – Carrie Underwood “Blown Away”

UPDATE- (733PM)- Country tribute perfomance- Dierks Bentley & Miranda Lambert…it’s purty…get it?

UPDATE- (720PM)– First award- Pop Solo Performance…Adele “Set Fire”…here she goes (again)…I’m pleased!

UPDATE- (705PM)- Taylor Swift opens with an “Alice In Wonderland-ish” version of her tribute song to all her exes- “We Are Never getting Back”…u kno the rest…
