The 55th Annual Grammy Awards have been scheduled for Sunday, February 10 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center and will be aired from 7:00-10:30 PM on CBS.
The event’s governing body, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, announced that The Grammy Nominations Concert Live! will return on CBS on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012. The nomination concert will include performances by past Grammy winners and nominees.
The eligibility period for this year’s awards ceremony runs from Oct. 1, 2011, to Sept. 30, 2012. There is no word on who will host next year’s event.
This year’s 54th Annual Grammy Awards was struck with tragedy the night before with the death of Whitney Houston. Still, the show went on and became the most viewed Grammy Awards show since 1984 with over 39.9 million viewers.
