2 Chainz And Occupants Arrested After Tour Bus Mini-Standoff

2 Chainz’s tour bus was pulled over in Oklahoma City this morning (Aug. 22).

Traffic cops waved the bus down because the taillights were out and allegedly noticed signs of drug use as they approached the vehicle. The officers asked to search the bus, but passengers refused them entry without a warrant and locked the doors. Police towed the bus — with the passengers inside — and waited nine hours until they obtained a warrant from a judge.

The cops obtained the court order and arrested 11 people on board.  2 Chainz and ten other occupants were taken to an Oklahoma county jail.

“Cops have finally obtained a warrant and entered the bus … and immediately placed several passengers under arrest for ‘interfering with police process’ for locking the cops out of the bus,” TMZ reported earlier today.

According to Oklahoma County Sheriff’s spokesman Mark Myers, by Thursday afternoon all 11 individuals, including 2 Chainz, posted the $2,000 bail and were released from custody.

The rapper was arrested earlier this year in Maryland on marijuana charges.  Since then, those charges have been acquitted.
