12 Days Until ACL: BSOL Talks to Fitz and the Tantrums

They have been called the “hardest working band in show business.”
And if you’ve seen their schedule lately, it’s true. Fitz and the Tantrums have been on a non-stop tour that has taken them across the globe.

Their sound has been described as soul-indie-pop, but FATT (their shortcode) has defined a sound of their own. I dare any music listener not to get instantly addicted to the catchy, hook driven soulful sound of their first single “Money Grabber”. It’s a “toe-tapper”.

Now out on their fall tour, FATT makes a stop at ACL for the first time.

BackstageOL will be interviewing the band from the Austin City Limits Festival, but here is a glance at our first meeting during the past South By Southwest Music Festival, also held in Austin, Texas.
