Justin Bieber is wanted for questioning by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department after the singer allegedly “roughed up” a paparazzi photographer.
The altercation occurred when a paparazzi photographer tried to take a picture of Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez while they were leaving a theater at The Common at Calabasas.
A witness told TMZ that the photographer was blocking Bieber’s car as the couple was trying to leave. The witness also claims the singer asked the photographer to move out of the way but he refused, triggering the scuffle.
L.A. County Sheriff’s Lt. Robert Wiard says the photographer called 911 on Sunday with complaints of chess pains. The photographer was taken to the hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department were he was treated and released, officials said.
Wiard says Bieber and Gomez left the scene before deputies arrived, therefore investigators want to talk to them to get their side of the story.
