Will The Flash Open Hundreds of Stories into the DC Multiverse?

While the Flash panel during DC Fandome was, quick, it did provide a glimpse into possibly DC’s most important theatrical project moving forward.

Before The Flash panel, the DC Fandome conference went into detail about the Multiverse and the possibility for multiple characters and versions of said characters, to interact on the tv screen and the silver screen. Jim Lee and Walter Hamada both expressed their intrigue and excitement at the possibility of the general audience accepting a concept that previously had been reserved for the hardcore fans.

In steps The Flash, directed by Andy Muschietti (Mama, It Chapter 1 and 2) and starring the Flash of Batman Vs Superman and Justice League, Ezra Miller. Even though they zoomed through their thoughts, feelings, and foundation for the film, they were able to provide us with some concept art inspiration for Flash’s new suit. In addition, Ezra Miller explained that, “This movie, by opening that door that Flashpoint did in the comics, all these movies and stories and characters can start to collide. The cinematic multiverse is going to be born out of this movie.”

If what Ezra says is true, The Flash movie could potentially be the door that opens to hundreds upon hundreds of stories within the DC Multiverse.
