The trailer for the reboot of 1984’s Ghostbusters starring a female cast was released Thursday.
The film, which is being helmed by Bridesmaids director Paul Feig, features Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, and Saturday Night Live comedians Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as the main characters, replacing the original group, which included Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. Chris Hemsworth is also part of the cast and plays their receptionist Kevin.
The reboot is expected to feature cameos and throwbacks to the original film. In the trailer, the ghost Slimer makes an appearance and there’s a glimpse of the new Ecto-1.
